iPhone 4 Press Conference.

The iPhone 4 antenna issue may reach its apex with the recent announcement that Apple has scheduled a press conference taking place Friday at 12 p.m. CST to speak about the recent hullaballoo over iPhone 4. iPhone 4 has been the topic of much debate since it was revealed June 15, from pre-order issues thanks to Dallas-based AT&T to the antenna that have some believing that Apple has delivered a lemon of a phone that drops calls due to a design flaw. The antenna issue has been much debated, reaching a boiling point with Consumer Reports calling iPhone 4 the best smartphone on the market, but not recommending it.

What could Apple have in store for the world at their press conference Friday? A recall? Free bumpers? No one knows. I don’t think a full recall will be in order (personally I’ve had no issues with my iPhone 4), but anything's feasible.

What is more likely to occur is Apple will address the iPhone 4 issues, possibly provide credits or reduced prices on their bumpers, or even, not one of the above. All Apple has completed is notify those in the press that the event would be held at the aforementioned time, & the topic would be iPhone 4.

The press conference will be a wise PR, promotion & promotion move for Apple in the event that they face the issue head on, are honest about what, if any, issue exists with iPhone 4, & if an issue does in fact exist, provide a solution. For iPhone 4 Technical Specifications click here.
